Welcome to DropPush, Inc. ("DropPush," "we," "us," or "our"). We value your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your data when you use our platform at droppush.app and sellers.droppush.app, which connects buyers and sellers of goods through fixed-price drops, auctions, and live shows.
1. Information We Collect
We collect information you provide directly, as well as data generated through your use of DropPush:
Categories of Personal Information Collected
- Identifiers: Name, email address, username, phone number, mailing address, and account credentials (managed by Clerk).
- Commercial Information: Details about items you list, buy, sell, or bid on, including descriptions, photos, prices, auction bids, purchase history, and shipping information.
- Financial Information: Payment card details, billing address, and bank account information for sellers (processed and stored by Stripe; DropPush does not store full payment card numbers).
- Internet/Electronic Activity: IP address, device type, browser type and version, operating system, pages visited, interactions with the site (e.g., clicks, searches, live show participation), referral URLs, and session duration.
- Geolocation Data: Approximate location derived from your IP address and shipping addresses.
- Audio/Visual Information: Live show video and audio recordings, profile photos, and product images you upload. Note: If you participate in live shows (including via chat), your image, voice, and chat messages may be recorded and retained per the retention schedule in Section 9.
- Communications: Messages you send via our platform, live show chat messages (which may be recorded), and communications with our support team.
- Inferences: Preferences and interests inferred from your browsing and purchase history to personalize your experience.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your data for the following business purposes:
- Providing Services: Facilitate buying, selling, bidding, live show participation, and shipping on DropPush.
- Payment Processing: Process payments, calculate referral commissions, manage subscriptions, and prevent fraud.
- Personalization: Personalize your experience and recommend items and sellers.
- Communications: Send transactional notifications (order confirmations, shipping updates, auction results), subscription renewal reminders, and promotional communications (with opt-out).
- Platform Improvement: Analyze usage patterns, improve our platform, and develop new features.
- Safety and Security: Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and unauthorized access. Monitor live shows for compliance with content policies.
- Legal Compliance: Comply with applicable laws, regulations, and legal processes.
3. Sharing Your Information
We may share your data with the following categories of recipients:
- Other Users: Your username, listings, feedback, and public profile information are visible to buyers and sellers as part of transactions, auctions, and live shows.
- Service Providers and Third-Party Processors: We share data with the following third-party service providers who process data on our behalf:
- Stripe — Payment processing and Stripe Connect for seller payouts.
- Clerk — User authentication and identity management.
- EasyPost — Shipping label generation, rate calculation, address validation, and package tracking.
- Agora — Live video streaming infrastructure for live shows.
- SendGrid — Email notifications and communications.
- Vercel — Website hosting and deployment.
- Amazon Web Services (AWS) — Cloud infrastructure and data storage.
- Supabase — Real-time data services, database hosting, and live chat messaging.
- Legal Compliance: If required by law, such as in response to a subpoena, court order, or government request, or to protect our rights, safety, or property.
- Business Transfers: In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of the transaction.
4. Cookies and Tracking Technologies
We use cookies and similar tracking technologies to operate and improve our platform:
- Essential Cookies: Required for basic platform functionality, including authentication, session management, and security. These cannot be disabled.
- Analytics Cookies: Help us understand how users interact with DropPush, including page views, session duration, and feature usage. These help us improve the platform.
- Functional Cookies: Remember your preferences, such as language settings and display options, to enhance your experience.
- Marketing Cookies: Used to deliver relevant advertisements and measure ad campaign effectiveness. You may opt out of marketing cookies through your browser settings.

5. Your Choices
- Update your account settings to control visibility of certain information.
- Opt out of promotional emails via the unsubscribe link in any marketing email. You may also email hello@droppush.app to request removal from promotional communications.
- Manage cookie preferences through your browser settings. Essential cookies cannot be disabled as they are required for platform functionality.
- Request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by emailing hello@droppush.app. Requests will be verified and processed within 45 days (extendable by 45 additional days with notice).
6. California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) Rights
If you are a California resident, you have the following rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and its amendments (CPRA):
- Right to Know: You may request that we disclose (a) the categories of personal information collected, (b) the categories of sources, (c) the business or commercial purposes for collecting or selling the information, (d) the categories of third parties with whom we share the information, and (e) the specific pieces of personal information collected about you.
- Right to Delete: You may request deletion of your personal information. We will comply subject to exceptions permitted by law (e.g., completing a transaction, legal compliance, security).
- Right to Correct: You may request that we correct inaccurate personal information we maintain about you.
- Right to Opt-Out of Sale/Sharing: You have the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. See "Do Not Sell My Personal Information" below.
- Right to Limit Use of Sensitive Personal Information: You may limit our use of sensitive personal information to purposes necessary for providing our services.
- Right to Non-Discrimination: We will not discriminate against you for exercising your CCPA rights.

We will verify your identity before processing requests and respond within 45 days (extendable by an additional 45 days with notice). You may designate an authorized agent to make requests on your behalf.
Metrics: As required by the CCPA, we will publish annual metrics regarding the number of requests received and our response times in our annual transparency report.
7. Do Not Sell My Personal Information
DropPush does not sell your personal information in the traditional sense (i.e., in exchange for monetary consideration). However, certain data-sharing practices, such as sharing information with advertising partners for cross-context behavioral advertising, may constitute a "sale" or "sharing" under the CCPA. To opt out of any such sharing or sale, email hello@droppush.app with the subject line "Do Not Sell My Personal Information" or contact us at the address below. We will process your request within 15 business days. You may use an authorized agent to make this request on your behalf. We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of consumers under the age of 16.
8. Data Security
We use industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit (TLS/SSL) and at rest, secure authentication via Clerk, PCI-compliant payment processing via Stripe, and regular security assessments. However, no system is 100% secure. Report any security concerns to hello@droppush.app.
9. Data Retention
We retain your information for the following periods:
- Account Information: Retained for as long as your account is active. Upon account deletion, we delete or anonymize your personal data within 90 days, except as required by law.
- Transaction Records: Retained for 7 years to comply with tax and financial reporting obligations, including sales tax remittance records.
- Communications and Chat Logs: Retained for 2 years for dispute resolution and quality assurance purposes. This includes live show chat messages.
- Live Show Recordings: Retained for 1 year for dispute resolution and compliance monitoring, then automatically deleted unless subject to a legal hold.
- Usage and Analytics Data: Identifiable usage data is deleted within 24 months. Anonymized or aggregated data may be retained indefinitely for platform improvement purposes and cannot be re-identified to you.
- Shipping Records: Retained for 3 years in accordance with carrier and regulatory requirements.
- Legal Holds: Data subject to legal holds or ongoing investigations is retained until the matter is resolved.
10. Third-Party Links
DropPush may contain links to external sites. We're not responsible for their privacy practices. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party sites you visit.
11. Children's Privacy
DropPush is not intended for users under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or 16 in California). If we learn that we have collected information from a child, we will delete it promptly. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at hello@droppush.app.
12. Governing Law
This Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict of laws principles, and applicable federal laws including the CCPA for California residents.
13. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy periodically. We will notify you of material changes via email or on-site notification at least 30 days before they take effect. The "Last Updated" date at the top of this page indicates when the policy was last revised.
